Flapjacks
Servings: 1
Prep Time: Minutes
Ingredients 90 grams Oats 3 tbsp(s) Milk powder 40 grams Dessicated Coconut 35 grams Golden Linseeds 130 grams dates 2 tbsp(s) Coconut Oil 3 tbsp(s) honey 1 tsp(s) extract - vanilla Directions: Prep: Golden Linseeds/Flax seeds need to be milled ( I bought mine milled from Holland & Barrett) Gluten Free Oats were used to make flapjacks Gluten Free Method: Pre-heat your oven to 175C (350F) and add all of the dry ingredients into a food processor & switch on for a few minutes until 80- 90% of the dates have been broken up into tiny pieces Pour the dry ingredients into a bowl and melt the honey (or maple syrup if you prefer) & coconut oil in the microwave for a minute, stir and add to the dry ingredients Mix until all of the dry ingredients are coated with the oil & honey before pouring into a greased baking tray. You could always line your tray with baking paper too. Press the mixture down firmly all over so that the mixture is packed together tightly before baking for around 20 minutes Allow the flapjack to cool in the tin before transferring to the fridge for 4-5 hours. You'll then be able to slice the bars into 10 pieces before dripping some melted dark chocolate ontop and popping them back in to the fridge to set 1 slice = snack on Phase 2 and 3 divide into 20 slices for Phase 1.
