Mulled Cider
Mull Cider, Well if you lived on a farm, you would more than likely have an orchard, and a cider press and a good few recipes for using some of the apples. Of course you could nip down to your local super market or maybe a Saturday farmers market and buy a hundred weight of them, but we are going to cheat a bit and buy the cider.

5 gallons cider ( a good quality)
1 Kg bag of brown sugar
Half a bag of white sugar (500 gm)
Half a little bag of fresh ginger
2 oranges chopped up
6 sliced apples
5 apples with cloves stuck in them
1 lemon chopped
and a bottle of rum!
Put all the ingredients in a huge pot. Allow an hour to heat it all through. Do not boil but make sure all the sugar is melted. Serve in jam jars. If there are not to many people to drink this you can halve or quarter the ingredients.
